The stove is available in standard, high-leg, and log-store variants. The standard model requires a full constructional hearth, while the Ivar 5 High and Logstore versions can be installed on a 12mm decorative hearth, offering flexibility for different interiors.

With Ecodesign and DEFRA approval, the Ivar 5 is suitable for all UK smoke-controlled areas. It can also be used with a 5-inch flue, has an optional multifuel kit, and features a smart design that allows chimneys to be swept through the stove with no bolts to undo.
